RBI Grade B Exam Pattern
The exam as mentioned above comprises of three stages:
- Preliminary Exam
- Interview Round
The exam pattern of various stages is given below:
RBI Grade B Preliminary Exam
- The exam will be held in online mode.
- The total number of questions is 200.
- The questions are objective type.
- There are 4 sections in the exam.
- Each correct answer will fetch a candidate with 1 mark and 0.25 marks will be deducted for every incorrect answer.
- The duration of the exam is 2 hours.
The preliminary exam pattern along with the marking scheme is illustrated below:

The weightage of each section varies from year to year. The candidates who clear the preliminary round are eligible to sit for the mains examination.
RBI Grade B Mains Exam Pattern
- This is a part Objective and Part descriptive paper.
- The total marks in this exam are 300,
- There are three papers in this stage.
