SBI Apprentice Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should be eligible according to the SBI Apprentice Eligibility Criteria to apply for the post of Apprentice. After that, they need to follow the specific SBI Apprentice Exam Pattern & Syllabus. Under eligibility, there are different criteria that one has to keep in mind while applying for it. Applicants must have all the relevant qualifications and documents that are required while going for the online application procedure. Failing to present any of the required documents leads to disqualification of the candidate, hence it is imperative to be thorough with the criteria given below in detail.

SBI Apprentice Age Limit

Applicants who fall within the age limit can apply for the post of Apprentice in SBI. It is important to make sure that one should have all the relevant documents required as Age Proof of the candidate. Applicants claiming age relaxation must have authentic and original documents issued by the government or any respected body of India to have the benefit.

• Min. Age - 20 years

• Max. Age - 28 years

SBI Apprentice Age Relaxation

The age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories and there is an upper age limit as per the Government of India guidelines for SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates. These candidates must have certified documents to claim for relaxation.

The candidate must have all the documents related to the caste, physical disabilities, education qualification, identification proof, and age proof submitted at the time of the online application procedure.

Identification proof has to be carried along with the SBI Apprentice Admit Card during the Written Exam and the Test of Local Languages.

SBI Apprentice Educational Qualification

Candidates should have a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university or any equivalent qualification approved by the central or state government as mentioned in the previous official notification of SBI Apprentice.
 

SBI Apprentice Nationality

The applicant must be either –

• An Indian citizen or,
• A subject of Nepal, Bhutan or
• A Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 intending to permanently settle in India or,
• People migrated from Pakistan, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam to permanently settle in India.

SBI Apprentice Number of Attempts

There is no such limit to the number of attempts for the SBI Apprentice Examinations. Candidates within 28 years of age can apply multiple times if eligible.

SBI Apprentice Experience

No years of experience are needed for SBI Apprentice Recruitment. Candidates directly after graduation can apply for this recruitment. But they should make sure that they meet the age limit mentioned above as will be mentioned in the notification.

SBI Apprentice For Persons with Disability ( PwD)

Reservation for Persons with Disability is parallel with all the vacancies and categories mentioned above. Persons with Benchmark Disabilities as per section 34 of “ Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016” are eligible to claim under this. The post is identified as suitable for those persons who come under the categories (mentioned below )with benchmark disabilities as defined in the Schedule of RPWD Act 2016:

Benchmark Disabilities are:

• Locomotor Disabilities ( LD)
• Visual Impairment ( VI)
• Hearing Impaired ( HI)
• Other PWDs ‘d’ &’e’ categories
• Specific Learning Disabilities ( SLDs)
• Mental illness ( MI)
• Autism Spectrum Disorder ( ASD)
• Multiple Disabilities

Note: Only “persons with benchmark disability ” with not less than 40% of specified disability as certified by the certifying authority are eligible to apply.

A person who wants to avail the benefit of reservation must have the latest Disability Certificate, dated on or before the last date of registration on a prescribed format as issued by the Medical Authority in the District of applicant’s residence as mentioned in the Address Proof.

SBI Apprentice Eligibility Criteria – Important Points

• All the relevant documents mentioned in the SBI Apprentice Eligibility Criteria should be submitted.
• Relevant documents should be there for claiming age relaxation under any of the mentioned categories.
• Photographs and Signatures on all the documents must be identical.
• Final Decision for the SBI Apprentice Result is made regarding all the relevant criteria like acceptance or rejection of the application, eligibility criteria, conduct of examination, SBI Apprentice Cut-off, selection, and Number of vacancies in a particular state.
