SBI Clerk Selection Process 2022
The SBI Clerk Selection Process will be done over three phases, Prelims, Mains, and Local Language test, if applicable.
- Prelims Exam - The Preliminary examination is the first phase of the selection process. There are three sections for 100 marks. The time duration given is an hour. The candidates must note that there is sectional trimmings in the examination.
- Mains Exam - The second stage of the selection process is the Mains Exam 2022. The Mains examination will have 4 sections for 200 marks, the time duration given will be 2 hrs 40 minutes.
- Language test The last phase will be the local language test. This test will be applicable only to those who fail to produce evidence/ proof that they have studied the opted-specific local language until their 10th/12th standard. All those candidates who will be able to prove this does not need to appear in the language test.
SBI Clerk Application Process 2022
Once the application forms are out the candidates should follow the following steps:
- Visit the official page-sbi.co.in/web/careers/current-openings
- Click on new registration tab.
- Fill in all the relevant details and note down or save the registration number and password.
- Proceed to apply for the exam.
- Fill in details and upload documents, photos, and signatures.
- Pay the application fee.
- Download and save the application form.

SBI Clerk Exam Pattern
There are three stages in SBI Clerk Exam- Prelims, Mains and Language Proficiency Test. The details of each of these stages are as given below:
SBI Clerk Prelims Exam Pattern- The prelims exam is conducted for 1 hour.
- The number of questions is 100.
- There is a negative marking in the exam.

SBI Clerk Mains Exam
Those who qualify for the prelims exam. Are made to appear for the mains exam. The pattern for the mains exam is as follows:
- A total of 190 questions are asked.
- The duration of the exam is 2 hours 40 minutes.
- The maximum number of marks possible is 200.
- 1/4th of the mark assigned to the question will be deducted in case the answer is wrong.
