UPSC EPFO 2023 Interview: How to Calculate Marks
During the UPSC EPFO Interview process, candidates are evaluated based on specific criteria. For general category candidates, a minimum suitability level of 50 marks out of 100 is required. OBC candidates must achieve at least 45 marks, while for SC/ST/PH candidates, the minimum suitability level is 40 marks. It is important to note that the selection process can involve either only the interview or a combination of a Recruitment Test (RT) followed by the interview.
When both the Recruitment Test and the interview are part of the process, candidates must meet the minimum suitability level in both stages. The weightage for the selection process is divided in a 75:25 ratio, with 75% weightage given to the Recruitment Test and 25% to the interview. The minimum suitability level for the Recruitment Test may vary on a case-by-case basis, as determined by the Commission.
In summary, candidates need to achieve the minimum suitability level in their respective categories for both the Recruitment Test and the interview. The final selection is based on the combined performance in these stages, with the Recruitment Test carrying a higher weightage.
