According to the official statement, the aircraft demonstrated a flawless flight, including takeoff, waypoint navigation, and a soft touchdown, while operating in a fully autonomous mode.

This flight is a significant step towards self-reliance in such strategic defence technologies and marks a significant milestone for the demonstration of key technology for the development of future unmanned aircraft.

The Aeronautical Development Establishment (ADE), Bengaluru, a top research facility of DRDO, created and built the unmanned aerial vehicle, which is propelled by a tiny turbofan engine.

 The Autonomous Flying Wing Technology Demonstrator's airframe, undercarriage, and whole flight control and avionics systems were created domestically.

According to DRDO, the program's stealth UCAV's foundational research and testing have been given top attention.
One of the key components of the next-generation combat jet projects, which also includes the Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft (AMCA) project, is stealth technology.
