The Election Commission of India announced the poll dates for the President of India Election 2022 during a press conference. It should be noted that the Presidential elections in India in 2017 were held on July 17, with the winner announced three days later on July 20, 2017.

The President of India is elected by members of the electoral college, which includes elected members of both houses of the Indian Parliament, Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha.

Who is eligible to vote?
