RLP convenor and Nagaur MP Hanuman Beniwal addressed the 2021 Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teacher (REET) paper leak case in the Lok Sabha on Thursday, demanding a CBI investigation as well as the cancellation of the tests.
According to the party, the camp was planned for all Congress MLAs and other legislative members who support the government to discuss on pressing topics. Beniwal, speaking in the Lower House, said, "The REET cheating matter should be investigated by the CBI. Rajasthan's youth are up in arms. The REET tests have a lot of abnormalities, according to the reports. REET 2021 should be cancelled, and the rigging should be investigated by the CBI."
Previously, in January, the Ashok Gehlot government on January 29 sacked the chairman of Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education, Ajmer, D P Jaroli, in connection with the paper leak during the teachers' recruitment exam (REET) in September.
