Age restriction
- 18 years old is the minimum age.
- Age limit: 27 years
- Age relaxation is permitted under the guidelines.
Educational Qualification:
- Candidates must have passed the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education's Madhyamik Examination or its equivalent.
- The applicant must be able to communicate in Bengali and read, write, and speak it.

Constable's Lady:
Candidates from all categories: 160 (Height (Barefoot) (in cm. ), 49 (Weight) (in kg.)
Gorkhas, Garhwalis, Rajbanshis, and Scheduled Tribes: 152 cm (barefoot) height, 45 kg weight (in kg.)
