Fees for applications

• Rs.
  1125/- (Application Fee + Exam Fee) for SC/ST of all states and BC of Punjab.
• Rs. 500/- for Punjab ex-servicemen (No Exam Fee)
• Rs. 3000/- (Application Fee + Exam Fee) for all other categories
• Punjab PWD: Rs.1750/- (Application Fee + Examination Fee)
• Payment may be made at any State Bank of India branch.

Junior Engineer (Civil) Fees Have Been Revised:

• Rs. 750/- (Application Fee + Exam Fee) for SC/ST of all states and BC of Punjab.
• Rs. 500/- for EWS, PWD, LDESM, and Ex-Servicemen of Punjab (No Exam Fee)
• Rs. 1500/- (Application Fee + Exam Fee) for All Other Categories (General, Punjab Sports Persons, and Punjab Wards of Freedom Fighters)
• Payment may be made at any State Bank of India branch.

Dates to Remember

• The deadline to apply online is December 18, 2020.
• The application costs must be deposited by system-produced Bank Challan Form before December 28, 2020 [during banking hours].

• The deadline to apply online is March 18, 2021.
• The application fee must be paid before March 25, 2021.
• Junior Engineer (Civil) Online Application Deadline: May 19, 2021 (Extended from 18-03-2021 to 19-05-2021)
• The application cost for Jr Engineer (Civil) must be paid before May 26, 2021. (Extended from 25-03-2021 to 26-05-2021)
• Date of JE (Mech/Elect) Written Exam: 04-07-2021 (Postponed) (New Exam Date: 30 June to 04 July 2021)
• Date of Admit Card Download for JE (Mech/Elect): 27-06-2021
• Exam date for JE (Mech/ Elec): December 18, 2021
• Exam date (combined competitive exam): January 23, 2022 (Postponed)
• Admit Card Download Date: 17-01-2022
• Exam date (joint competitive exam) has been changed to 06-03-2022.
• Date of Admit Card Download: 01-03-2022

Maximum Age

• Minimum Age: 18 years old
• Maximum Age: 37 years old
• Age relaxation is allowed according to the guidelines.

Qualification

• Junior Engineers (Civil): A diploma in civil engineering or a higher certification from a recognised university or institution is required.
• Junior Engineers (Mechanical/Electrical): A recognised university or institution must award a diploma in mechanical or electrical engineering, or an equivalent/higher qualification.
• For both positions, Punjabi of Matric or comparable standard is required.
