RMO 2022-2023 Exam Eligibility Criteria: Candidates belonging to a recognized educational board like CBSE, ICSE, and other state boards and who are from classes 8-12 can take part in the Regional Mathematical Olympiad (RMO) exam.
However, they need to qualify for the Pre Regional Mathematical Olympiad (PRMO or Pre RMO) first.
Being the first stage of the Indian mathematical Olympiad exam, candidates must qualify for Pre RMO before they move on to RMO.
The exam is conducted by the Mathematics Teachers' Association (MTA) on behalf of the Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (HBCSE).
RMO is the provincial level of the International Olympiad exam for Mathematics in India.

To be eligible for the RMO exam, candidates have to qualify for the Pre Regional Mathematical Olympiad (Pre RMO). It is the first stage of the Indian National Mathematical Olympiad (INMO). Candidates from classes 8-12 can be a part of the Regional Mathematical Olympiad. Stages in the Mathematical olympiad
