Factors Affecting the Indian Army CEE Cut Off 2021

The Indian Army CEE cut off marks fluctuate from year to year based on a variety of criteria. The most important elements influencing the cut off marks are described below-
  • Total number of vacancies: The total number of vacancies has a significant impact on the cut off points. Vacancies are declared in the official notification, and the cut off marks are based on them.
  • Total number of Applicants: The total number of candidates that take the recruitment exam has an impact on the cut off marks.
  • Exam Difficulty Level: The difficulty level of the question paper is a major factor in determining the cut off marks. The lower the cut-off markings, the more the difficulty, and the higher the cut-off marks, the greater the difficulty.

The Indian Army's official website has not been updated with the current year's cut off list. Once the cut off has been released, students can obtain it by following the processes outlined below.

Step 3: Locate and click on the Indian Army CEE cut off 2021 link for your specific post.

Following items are a part of the Recruitment Procedure for the Indian Army Clerk Examination:

  • A. Checking of Documents
  • B. Physical Measurements
  • C. Physical Fitness Test
  • D. Medical Examination
  • E. Written Examination
  • F. Preparation of Merit List
  • G. Enrollment and dispatch of selected candidates in order of merit to Centers.

1- What is the written exam pattern?

Eligible candidates will be required to appear for a written test. Common Entrance Examination (CEE) is conducted on the last Sunday of every month for the recruitment of Soldier Clerks. It comprises the following two papers:

Paper-I: It generally comprises questions on IQ, Numerical ability, General knowledge and current affairs.

The duration of the papers is 60 minutes.
Total marks 100
Pass Marks 32

Those candidates competing for the position of Soldier clerk/ storekeeper technical have to also write a specific Paper II:

Paper-II: It generally comprises of Mathematics, Computer Science & English (Language Proficiency).

Duration - 30 minutes.
Total marks - 50 marks
Pass Marks-26 marks.

In addition to paper 1, Sol Clk has to qualify in their respective paper.

2-What is the eligibility criteria for Indian Army clerk?

Nationality: Unmarried male Indian citizens (including those of Nepal) are eligible.

Age: 17.5 - 23 years

Educational Qualifications: You ought to have cleared your 10+2/Intermediate exam passed in any stream (Arts/ Commerce/ Science) with 50% marks in aggregate and at least 40% in each subject. There are no criteria for marks if you have a higher qualification.

3- What is the salary of soldier clerk?

Indian Army Clerks are paid a monthly average salary amounting to Rs. 32,000 as per the guidelines of the 7th pay commission. They are also eligible to receive various perks and allowances. 

4- What is the duty of army clerk?


In the Indian Army, a clerk is basically a soldier. He discharges all his duties only in uniform. He works in an office job that may involve typing, dispatching and receiving letters concerned with the administrative matters of the Indian Army.
