Among the students who applied for the Science and technology programs, there is a total of 10.4% of applicants whose CUET-UG Most Preferred subject was Computer Science. On the second number, there are Business Education programs at the undergraduate level. However, the other 5% are looking for mathematics and mathematical science. Applicants applying for English (honors) were highest at 3,14,064 which was followed by the BA program which also has 3 lakh applicants. The third number is economics (honors) at 2,96,289. Law has also closed on 3.5 Lakh applications.

Delhi University was the leading university with a large number of applications for the popular courses. It receives approx. 1 Lakh applications for English (Honours), BCom (honors), BCom program, BCom (honors), mathematics (honors), and computer science. The next trend observed is that majority of applications are for the government-run universities with BHU, DU, University of Allahabad, Aligarh Muslim University, Jamia Millia Islamia, and Rajiv Gandhi University. There is a total of 56% of applicants were male and 46% are from the unreserved category. Among the reserved category, OBCs were having a large number of applications followed by SC candidates with 10.3%.
