Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) has set the Haryana CET exam pattern. Candidates who are aspiring to appear for Haryana CET Exam should ensure that they know all the details about the exam such as eligibility criteria, exam pattern, syllabus and so on.

Selection in Haryana CET Exam is done on the basis of two rounds- the Common Eligibility Test and socio-economic criteria & experience.
There are questions from General Awareness, Reasoning, English, Science, Maths, Hindi, Computer and Haryana General Knowledge in the exam.
There is no negative marking.

Haryana CET Exam Pattern

As already mentioned, selection in Haryana CET Exam is on the basis of Common Eligibiliity Test and socio-economic crtieria and experience.

The detailed exam pattern of Haryana CET Exam is as follows:

There are objective questions in the exam.
Exam is conducted for a total of 100 marks.
There is no negative marking in the exam.
The time duration of the exam is 1 hour 30 minutes.

Other than the written exam, candidates are also awarded marks on the basis of socio-economic criteria and experience. The details are as follows:

Criteria/Condition	Maximum Marks allotted
If neither the applicant nor a person from the applicant’s family (father, mother, spouse, brother, and Son) is, was, or has been an employee in any Authority of Government of Haryana/ Department/ Board/ Commission/ Corporation/ Company/ Statutory Body/ or any other State Government or Government of India.	5
If the applicant is a widow or is the first or second child and his father died before the applicant had attained the age of 15 years or father died before attaining the age of 42 years.	5
If a candidate belongs to a denotified tribe-like, Vimukt Jatis and Tapriwas Jatis or nomadic tribe of Haryana which is neither a Scheduled Class nor a Backward Class.	5
Candidate having experienced such that: One-half marks (0.5) for every year or part thereof exceeding six months of experience, out of a maximum of 16 years, on an equivalent or a higher post in any Department/ Board/ Commission/ Authority of Government of Haryana/ Corporation/ Company/ Statutory Body.	Maximum of 8 marks (No marks shall be awarded for any period less than 6 months)

Haryana CET Syllabus

Questions in Haryana CET Exam are asked from General Awareness, Haryana GK, Reasoning, Maths, General Science, English, and Computer. The syllabus of each of these subjects is decided by HSSC.
