The eligibility criteria for IBPS SO has been defined under the following parameters:

IBPS SO Eligibility Criteria: Nationality
A candidate must be either
- a Citizen of India or
- a subject of Nepal or
- a subject of Bhutan or
- a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 intending to settle in India permanently
IBPS SO Eligibility Criteria: Age Limit
Candidates must be between 20 to 30 years of age to be eligible for IBPS SO Exam.
There is relaxation in upper age limit provided to candidates belonging to reserved category.
