UPRVUNL Eligibility: Age Limit
To apply for the position of UPRVUNL Junior Engineer, you must be between the ages of 18 and 40 at the time of application form submission.
Age relaxation is only available to candidates residing in the state of Uttar Pradesh.

UPRVUNL Eligibility: Educational Qualifications
Apart from the age limit, there are certain educational qualifications that the candidate must adhere to, failure of which might result in the cancellation of their application form.
Following are the educational qualifications:
- The knowledge of the Hindi language in the Devanagari Script is compulsory for all candidates. If the candidate has not completed High School or an equivalent examination in Hindi, he or she must pass the exam administered by the Regulatory Authority U.P. (formerly known as the Registrar, Departmental Examinations Govt. of UP) within three years after joining.
- 3 years diploma examination in Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics/Control and Instrumentation/Instrumentation/Computer Engineering ·from an institute recognized by the State Government.
- Or City and Guides London institute, Final Grade examination m Electrical Engineering Practice Post I and II held after June 3, 1950.
- Or 3 years All India Diploma Examination in Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics/ Control and Instrumentation/1 Instrumentation/Computer Engineering conducted by the "All India Council for Technical Education", Government of India, Delhi Polytechnic.
- Or 3 years Diploma Examination in Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics/ Control and Instrumentation/Instrumentation/Computer Engineering conducted by any of the Universities in India incorporated by an Act of the Central/State legislature.
- Or National Certificate in Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics/Control and Instrumentation/ Instrumentation/Computer Engineering awarded by the " All India Council for Technical Education, Government of India.
- Or Final Examination held by the State Board of Technical Education, Uttar Pradesh for 02 years, Diploma Courses in Mechanical Engineering (Machine Tools Technology), Electrical Engineering (Electrical Technology) and Electronics/Control and Instrumentation/Instrumentation/Computer Engineering in respect of students trained at the under mentioned institutions.
(i) Government Polytechnic, Lucknow.
(ii) National Polytechnic, Nainital.

UPRVUNL Eligibility: Nationality
Only Indian citizens are eligible to apply for the position of UPRVUNL JE.
Candidates from anywhere throughout the country are welcome to apply for the UPRVUNL JE position, as long as they meet the other prerequisites.
However, inhabitants of Uttar Pradesh will be given preference in recruiting.
Applications from candidates who cannot provide proof of Indian citizenship will be rejected.
UPRVUNL Eligibility: Number of attempts
The number of attempts allowed to appear for the UPRVUNL JE recruitment process has not been specified.

The UPRVUNL JE Eligibility Criteria 2022 make no mention of any prior experience being necessary to take this exam.
