The Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) will hold the ESIC 2022 Exam on a regular basis to fill 3882 Upper Division Clerk (UDC), Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS), and Stenographer posts in ESIC. ESIC will fill 1769 Upper Division Clerk (UDC) posts on a regular basis through ESIC Direct Recruitment.
The ESIC UDC 2022 Phase 1 Prelims Exam will take place on March 19, 2022. From March 9th to March 19th, candidates can download their ESIC 2022 Admit Card for the ESIC UDC 2022 Phase-1 Prelims Exam.Candidates will be asked questions from General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Comprehension in the Prelims and Mains, and their skills in using PowerPoint, MS Word, and MS Excel in the Computer Skills Test, in the three-phase selection process for the ESIC UDC 2022.  Exam Pattern of ESIC UDC 2022

For the 1,736 Upper Division Clerk (UDC) posts, the ESIC UDC 2022 Selection Process contains three parts. Prelims, Mains, and Computer Skills Test are the three phases. Important note :


(i) The ESIC UDC 2022 Prelims Exam will be a qualifying exam, and the results will not be used to determine the Final Selection. 

(ii) The General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Comprehension parts of the Prelims Exam will each have four sections. 

(iii) The Preliminary Exam will last one hour. There will be 100 Objective Type Questions in total, with two marks awarded for each correct answer. There will be a 14-point penalty if you respond incorrectly.

Candidates taking the ESIC UDC 2022 Prelims Exam Phase-1 should be aware that this is a qualifying exam, and the marks earned in this phase will not be taken into account in the final selection. To be eligible for the Mains, candidates must pass the Prelims. Because the Prelims exam will contain negative marking, it is critical to have the correct preparation tactics and not to attempt a question if you are unsure of the answer.

To get a head start on this section, start with topics like coding-decoding and syllogism. This will help you gain a head start and increase your confidence in answering the questions. Then go on to more difficult and time-consuming topics like inequalities, analytical reasoning, arrangements, riddles, and so on. You should be able to attempt the difficult questions with ease and speed towards the end of your preparation. Solve as many mock examinations and question papers from past years as you can. How to Prepare Quantitative Aptitude for ESIC UDC 2022 Prelims?

Begin by practising questions on squares and cubes, tables and concepts, fundamental arithmetic problems, and so on. Practice tables with a maximum capacity of 25, squares with a maximum capacity of 40, and cubes with a maximum capacity of 20. Convert percentages to fractions and vice versa up to 1/20. Go over basic arithmetic topics like average, %, ratio, time-work, speed, and partnership, among others. Start with fundamental concepts like percentage, average, and simplification before moving on to more advanced topics like quadratic equations, data interpretation, and so on. Solve as many mock examinations and question papers from past years as you can. Set up exam-like settings with a timer to tackle prior years' question papers to improve your problem-solving skills.Candidates were able to make 16-18 solid tries, and the exam difficulty level was Easy to Moderate, according to prior years' exam analysis. Data Interpretation, Simplification, Arithmetic Word Problems, and Number Series were among the topics covered.

How to Prepare English Comprehension for ESIC UDC 2022 Prelims?

Learn to grasp grammar and vocabulary. How? Practice reading editorial passages and underlining new words. Look up the words in a dictionary and start using them. Examine the tone and structure of the sentences. Complete English Grammar tests and practise questions linked to the aforementioned major themes. To practise basic grammar concepts, pick up any 10th Class Grammar book. Reading Comprehension is where the majority of the questions are asked, thus mastering your comprehension abilities is a must if you want to do well in this area. Every day, look up at least 10 idioms and phrases, as well as 10 new terms. How to Prepare General Awareness for ESIC UDC 2022 Prelims?

General Awareness is a highly scoring subject if one has been keeping track of current affairs from the past minimum 3 months and maximum 6 months. This means one need to be aware of all latest happening and events ranging from September 2021 to March 2022. Static GK is also very important to score high in this section. Refer to important topics under static banking awareness and static GK. Most of the questions are asked from the latest current affairs in the past 3-6 months. Other than the important topics mentioned above, candidates are advised to also look in to topics such as Types of Insurances in India, History of Life Insurance in India, Introduction to the Insurance Sector, Insurance Ombudsman, Indian Insurance Market, Insurance Terms, Science & Technology, Financial Institutions of India, Indian Constitution, Books & Authors, History, Geography, Polity, Sports, Index & Ranking (India), GDP Estimates, Awards, etc.

As per previous years’ exam analysis, candidates were able to make 14-16 good attempts and the difficulty level of the exam was East to Moderate.
