Daily Routine of NDA Cadets
04:30 am - 06:00 am
Day at NDA starts early in the morning around 4:30 am to 6:00 am. A junior cadet shouts out the motto of the squadron/battalion to wake up all the cadets. Then the cadets freshen up to go for the Morning PT or drill.

06:00 am- 08:00 am
This is the time for Physical Exercise and Drill. Cadets undergo intense physical training and senior term cadets have drill practice. This is the Outdoor Training Session.
08:00 am - 09:00 am
After an intense training session, cadets get ready for the day. They have Breakfast at the Cadet's Mess. Its mandatory to ensure that cadets are on time for breakfast and also finish their meals on time. After breakfast, everyone goes for their classes.

09:00 am- 1:00 pm
This is the time for classes at NDA. There are various courses offered at NDA such as Bachelor of Science, Arts, Engineering and foreign languages course and so on. There are six periods in a day which the cadets have to attend.

01:00 pm - 03:00 pm
After a long academic session, cadets have their lunch at the mess. Thereafter they move to their squadrons to look after their cabins. Some cadets take rest while others are engaged in various activities as mandated by seniors and instructors at NDA.

03:00 pm- 06:00 pm
This is the games time. All the cadets are engaged in various games such as football, hockey, volleyball, squash and so on. Cadets are engaged in those sports for which competition is likely to be held soon.
06:00 pm- 08:00 pm
Cadets freshen up after an exhausting games session. This is the study time. Cadets study all that they have been taught during the classes hours.

08:00 pm - 08:30 pm
Senior cadets brief their juniors during this time. They inform the cadets about the events which are going to take place in the academy soon and motivate the cadets to win those events for the squadron and battalion.
08:30 pm- 09:00 pm
This is the time for some exercises and games for cadets which are organized by the senior term cadets. Also, during this time, cadets interact with each other.
