The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is a selection process for suitable applicants to work as Probationary Officers in several public sector banks in India. The IBPS PO exam has been held every year since 2011, and this year will be the 12th edition. The IBPS CRP PO/MT-XII exam is used to recruit candidates for 11 public sector banks.All public sector banks (PNB, BOB, Union Bank of India, Bank of Maharashtra), SBI, NABARD, RBI, and LIC use IBPS services. The IBPS PO exam will be divided into two parts: preliminary and mains. Candidates who pass the prelims exam will be invited to take the mains exam, and shortlisted candidates will be invited to a common interview, which will be coordinated by the nodal bank and administered by the participating banks.

Candidates will be provisionally assigned to one of the participating banks based on the final vacancies to be filled during the fiscal year 2022-23. The IBPS PO prelims exam will be held on October 15, 16, and 22, 2022. How many candidates applied for IBPS PO

Every year, the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection Probationary Officers (IBPS PO) test is held to select Probationary Officers/Management Trainees (PO/MT) in 11 Public Sector Banks in India. The IBPS CRP PO/MT test consists of three parts: the preliminary exam, the main exam, and the interview. In the year 2020-2021, a total of 6 lakh 78 thousands people applied for IBPS PO , which was less than in the previous year. In the 2019-2020 academic year, a total of 8 lakh 25 thousands  individuals applied for IBPS PO Exam . However , 4. 75 lakh candidates appeared for the test .
