RRB JE Eligibility Criteria 2022

As mentioned, RRB JE eligibility criteria consist of details regarding nationality, age limit, educational qualification, and so on. Candidates should know each of these criteria in detail, and they should ensure they meet all the eligibility criteria.

RRB JE Eligibility Criteria: Nationality

A candidate must belong to the following categories:

A citizen of India
A subject of Nepal
A subject of Bhutan
A Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 to permanently settle in India
A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with to permanently settle in India.

RRB JE Eligibility Criteria: Age Limit

Candidates between 18 to 33 years of age can apply for RRB JE Exam. There is age relaxation provided to candidates belonging to reserved categories. The details are as follows:

Category	Upper Age Limit Relaxations
OBC	3 years
SC/ ST	5 years
PWD	10 years

RRB JE Eligibility Criteria: Educational Qualifications

The required educational qualifications for different posts under RRB JE are as follows:

Posts	Educational Qualification
Junior Engineer	Diploma/Degree in Engineering related to the post you are applying in the RRB JE exam.
Depot Material Superintendent	Diploma/Degree in Engineering from any discipline
Junior Engineer (Information Technology)	You must have either one of these - PGDCA/B.Sc. Source: oneindia.com (Computer Science)/ B.Tech (Computer Science)/BCA/ B.Tech (IT)/ DOEACC B level course of 3 years from Recognised University
Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant	You must have a Bachelors’s degree in Science with both the subjects - Physics and Chemistry along with a minimum of 55% marks aggregate.

Note:

Candidates who are yet to get their degree are not eligible to apply
Candidates in their last semester cannot apply
Candidates can not apply for multiple RRB JE posts. Only a single post can be selected during the application process.

RRB JE Eligibility Criteria: Medical Fitness

The details regarding medical fitness are as follows:

Medical Standard	General Fitness	Vision Standards
A-3	Physically fit in each aspect	Distance Vision: 6/9, 6/9 with or without glasses (power of lenses not to exceed 2D) Near Vision: Sn: 0.6,0.6 with or without glasses and Must pass the test for Colour Vision, Binocular Vision, Night Vision, and Mesopic vision
B-1	Physically fit in each aspect	Distance Vision: 6/9, 6/12 with or without glasses (power of lenses not to exceed 4D) Near Vision: Sn: 0.6, 0.6 with or without glasses when reading or close work is required and Must pass the test for Colour Vision, Binocular Vision, Night Vision, and Mesopic vision.
B-2	Physically fit in each aspect	Distance Vision: 6/9, 6/12 with or without glasses (power of lenses not to exceed 4D) Near Vision: Sn: 0.6, 0.6 with or without glasses when reading or close work is required and Must pass the test for Binocular Vision.
C-1	Physically fit in each aspect	Distance Vision: 6/12, 6/18 with or without glasses Near Vision: Sn: 0.6, 0.6 with or without glasses when reading or close work is required.
