RMO 2022: RMO stands for Regional Mathematical Olympiad. It is the second phase in the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) program, Pre RMO being the first stage. Candidates who qualify for the Pre regional Mathematical Olympiad become eligible for the RMO exam. However, they should be a recognized educational board like CBSE, ICSE, or other state boards and from Classes 8-12. RMO Exam pattern includes six descriptive Mathematics questions carrying 17 marks each. The exam goes on for three hours and is held in pen and paper mode. RMO Exam Dates 2022-2023 are not declared yet. However, as soon as the Pre RMO exam is conducted, its results are declared, RMO Registration may start and exam dates will be declared by an organizing body viz the Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (HBCSE).

RMO Registration 

Applicants who qualify for the first stage of the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) viz Pre RMO can register themselves for the Regional Mathematical Olympiad.

RMO Eligibility Criteria 

Candidates who clear the Pre Regional Mathematical Olympiad and are studying from Classes 8-12 are eligible for the RMO exam. However, they first need to qualify for the Pre Regional Mathematical Olympiad.  

Students from Kendriya Vidhayala (KV) and Jawahar Navodaya Vidhayala (JNV) are also eligible to participate in the exam. Candidates with Cards Overseas Citizenship of India (OCI) cards can also participate in the Regional Mathematical Olympiad. However, they cannot participate in the IMO.

RMO Exam Pattern 

It is significant to know the RMO Exam Pattern if you have qualified for the Pre-RMO exam. Once you know the exam pattern, you can prepare well for the exam and score good grades. There are six descriptive mathematical questions carrying 17 marks each, 102 in total.

The syllabus for the Regional Mathematical Olympiad includes the Mathematics syllabus for Classes 8-12. It is very important to know the syllabus if you are aiming to appear in the RMO exam. RMO Exam Dates

RMO 2022 Exam dates are not declared yet by the organizing body. The Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (HBCSE) organizes the Regional Mathematical Olympiad on behalf of the National Board of Higher Mathematics (NBHM). Usually, the RMO exam is held in December every year. However, this year the RMO Exam dates are postponed. 

As soon as the Pre RMO Exam results are declared, RMO Registration will start, and its exam dates will be declared by the conducting body.

RMO Exam Results 

RMO Exam Results will be declared after the exam is held. The exam date for the Regional Mathematical Olympiad is not declared by the organizing body viz Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (HBCSE).

However, as soon as the Pre-RMO Exam is held and its Results are declared, RMO 2022 Exam dates will be declared, and subsequently, exam results will also be released.
