SSC JE Exam Pattern 2021

There are two stages in SSC JE Selection Process:
  1. Written Test (Objective and Descriptive)
  2. Document Verification
The written test comprises of two papers- Paper I and Paper II. The details of the pattern of these papers is given below.

SSC JE Exam Pattern: Paper I

This is an objective Computer Based Test. There are a total of 200 questions that are asked in the exam. There are three sections in this paper- General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, and Technical Section. The details are as follows:

Note: Each question carries one mark. There is negative marking and 0.25 marks are deducted for every incorrect answer.

SSC JE Exam Pattern: Paper II

This paper includes descriptive type questions. It carries a total of 300 marks. There will be three parts i.e. Civil & Structural Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering out of which candidates have to attempt the part based on their graduation stream. The total duration of the exam is 2 hours.
