SBI PO stands for State Bank of India Probationary Officer.
This examination is conducted every year for recruiting Probationary Officers in SBI all over the country. The Recruitment process consists of 3 stages namely- Preliminary Examination, Mains Examination and Personal Interview.
In Hand Salary
In hand salary means the amount that a candidate recieved by any candidate after deducting all necessary taxes. The in hand salary of an SBI PO ranges from Rs 42000 to 44000 . The Gross compensation received by the candidate ranges between 8.20 Lakhs (minimum) to Rs. 13.08 lakhs
(maximum) per annum.The amount that an employee recieves greatly varies with the job location .
SBI PO SALARY :
The SBI PO salary is set as per the Bipartite Settlement. SBI PO Salary in India- The Basic Pay is Rs 27620/- and Increment is done in 4 stages.
1st Increment- Rs. 23700-980/7
2nd Increment-Rs. 30560-1145/2
3rd Increment- Rs. 32850-1310/7
4th Increment- Rs. 42020
SBI PO Allowances:
Apart from the basic salary the job includes a number of allowances that contributes to the total sum. There are some standard allowances that a Probationary officer in SBI is entitled to along with the basic salary . These include:
||46.9% of basic pay
|City Compensatory Allowance(CCA)
||3% / 4%(depends upon the place of posting).
|Leased House Accommodation
||Minimum- Rs 8000/-(Rural); Maximum- Rs 29500/-(Urban)
|| 100% for employees; 75% for family members
||A reimbursement will be offered for AC-2Tier travels (Exclusively for official travels)
|| Rs 4000/-
||7.5 lakhs to 12.9 lakhs annually
Apart from all of these allowances, the officer will also be allowed the following allowances :
Cashless treatment in selected medical facilities around the country.
House maintenance allowance
Telephone bill reimbursement
Concession for Leave /Home Travel Concession
Concession on interest rates for House Loan, Personal Loan, etc
Firstly the candidates who qualify for the SBI PO exam will have to serve a probation period of 2 years during which the candidates will be assessed on the basis of their performance. Those candidates who will qualify in the assessment will be then confirmed a position as Junior Management Grade Scale I.
