IAS Full Form
As already mentioned, IAS's full form is Indian Administrative Services.
It is not easy to become an IAS officer.
You have to qualify for the Civil Services Exam which has a tiny success rate. Indian Civil Service Examination began to be held in India from 1922 onwards.
Currently, the UPSC conducts this exam on an annual basis in three stages- prelims, mains, and interviews.

How to become an IAS?
To become an IAS officer you have to appear for the Civil Services Exam, the eligibility requirement is that candidates should be above 21 years of age and should have completed graduation.
Other than this, there are also chances of promotion from state civil services into the IAS.
