Government jobs in India are the most sought job options for Indians because of the social reputation it holds which offers a hassle-free life and job security. Because of these benefits provided by the government most of the youths target these kinds of competitive entrance examinations conducted by the government immediately after completing their education.

  • National Defence Academy (NDA)- National Defence Academy (NDA) Exam 2021 is a National level exam organized by Union Public Service Commission UPSC to recruit candidates in Army, Navy, and Air Force. It is conducted twice every year and the exams are NDA 1 and NDA 2. NDA conducts its exam in two stages i.e Written exam and SSB interview. The exam is conducted for admission to Army, Navy and Air Force wings of NDA and Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC) and more than 4 lakh aspirants appear for NDA exam every year, out of which approximately 6000 qualified candidates are called for SSB Interview.   • SSC Combined Higher Secondary Level (SSC CHSL)- Staff Selection Commission-Combined Higher Secondary Level (SSC CHSL) is a national-level level exam conducted by SSC every year. The exam is conducted to recruit eligible candidates for various posts such as LDC, JSA, PA, SA and DEO in various ministries/departments/offices of the Government of India. SSC CHSL recruitment 2020-21 has commenced on November 6, 2020. The SSC CHSL Tier-I 2021 exam will be conducted from April 12-27.

  • SSC Multi Tasking Staff (SSC MTS)- SSC (MTS) is an entrance exam conducted by the Staff Selection Commission(SSC), to recruit candidates for the post of supporting staff at various ministries and government departments.

  • SSC General Duty Constable (SSC GD Exam)-  The SSC GD exam is the General Duty Constable examination conducted by the Staff Selection Commission SSC for the recruitment of eligible personnel in various Government departments and Ministries of India.

  • SSC Grade C and Grade D Stenographer (SSC Stenographer) - SSC conducts Stenographer Exam to recruit candidates to work in a courtroom or any corporate place for legal proceedings. The role is to transcribe spoken words by typing them into a steno machine, a kind of shorthand typewriter. The educational qualification for this exam is a high school graduate certificate. The stenography skills certificate is also required to take the exam.

  • RRB Assistant Loco Pilot (RRB ALP)-  RRB Assistant Loco Pilot post can be applied after 12th Class. The job profile involves the task of assisting the Train driver on his duty and is a very responsible job and should be done with utmost care.

  • Railway Group D (RRB/RRC Group D)- The RRB Group D Exam CBT I is to be conducted by the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) on behalf of the Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC). RRB Group D recruitment is conducted to choose eligible candidates for Level-I posts.

  1. Track Maintainer Grade-IV

  2.  Helper/Assistant

  3. Assistant for various technical departments (Mechanical, Electrical, and S&T departments)

  4. Assistant Pointsman

  5. Level-I posts of 7th CPC Pay Matrix in various departments of Indian Railways.

Approximately 1.15 crore candidates had registered for the RRC Group D exam this year. There are a total of 1,03,769 vacancies which will be filled through RRB Group D exams. The candidates who qualify the exam will be posted in 16 railway zones.

  • Railway Clerks: The job of any Train Clerk is to check the number of wagons and coaches in Railway yard, preparing other train documents like Vehicle Guidance (VG), feeding this information in railway network terminals, etc. The posting can be either on  Stations or Control offices in Divisional/Zonal headquarters across India.

  • Railway Constables: The role of a Railway's constables is to maintain law and order in the railway premises or stations. Candidates can apply for this post after completing their 12th class and their job would be patrolling during any journey and look out for any notorious activities.

  • Indian Army Exam for the post of Technical Entry Scheme, Mahila Constables, Soldiers, Junior Commissioned Officers for Catering

  • Indian Navy Exam for the post of Sailor, Artificer Apprentice and Senior Secondary Recruits (SSR)

  • CAPF  stands for Central Armed Police Force.  Under the authority of the Ministry of Home Affairs CAPF is the unified name of the 7 security forces in India. But there are certain posts in these 7 SF that a candidate can apply after 12th. Different posts have different eligibility criteria.
