- An additional read titled ‘ Biology Supplementary Material’ has been counted.
- The holy groves chapter has been now counted in chapter 15.

- Finding out the wavelength of a laser beam by diffraction.
- To comprehend the principles of AND, OR, and NOT gates. Making their identical circuits using a bell and cells or battery.

- The addition of chapter 'Solid state' in unit-1 and the sequence of units are revised.
- There is an addition of group-15 elements in chapter -7. The periods are increased from 12 to 14.
- Additions are done in Unit 5- Polymers: Classification-synthetic and natural methods, methods of polymerization
- There is an alternation in chapter 13 to amines. Topics of cyanides and isocyanides have been eliminated.
- The number of practicals is now 60. The following modifications are done-
- Study of the effect of different temperatures on the activity of salivary amylase.
- Study of the presence of suspended particulate matter in the air at 2 different sites.
- Changes in Qualitative Analysis: CO₂⁺and NO₃ added. As₃⁺ are eliminated.
